1- MicroStrategy had announced that they have raised $650M from their senior note offering to fund their Bitcoin acquisition.
2- After raising $76M on their IPO, ethereum ETF; The Ether Fund (TSX:QETH.U) debuts in Canada’s Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX).
3- The defunct crypto exchange Cryptopia’s former customers can now make claims to recover their hacked funds.
4- Reserve Bank of India’s 2018 ban had been lifted by the Supreme Court earlier this year. Banks once again serve crypto traders and exchanges.
5- All Russian officials are obliged to report their crypto holdings as of June, 30, 2021.
6- Meituan, DiDi and Bilibili are now taking part in the Chinese CBDC initiative, allowing their users the spend the digital yuan they earned through the lottery.
7- ethereum developer Virgil Griffith was arrested back in Nov 2019 for violating the US sanctions law by allegedly going to North Korea to give a conference on cryptocurrencies. Virgil’s attorneys claim he is still not informed on what specific crimes he is accused of.
8- Swivel Finance raised $1.15M in a funding round led by Multicoin Capital.
9- Philip Gradwell, Chief Economist at Chainalysis reports that the number of wallets holding more than 1,000 Bitcoin hits sees a record high at 2,052 entities.
10- WordPress partners with EthereumAds to allow publishers to receive ad revenues into their ethereum wallets.
11- glassnode’s CTO Rafael Schultze-Kraft predicts Bitcoin price to tenfold.
12- IOTA co-founder David Sønstebø parts way with the foundation.
13- The Office of the New York Attorney General announced that they are expecting Bitfinex’s Tether case documents within the coming weeks.
14- Turkish crypto exchange Paribu announced the listing of Turkish Cornell Professor Emin Gün Sirer’s Avalance coin (AVAX) on their trading platform.
15- Exhanges who are supporting Flare: List.
16- Bitcoin is down 2.2% at $17,995.
17- Elrond (EGLD) is the highest gainer in top 100 list with a 8.5% daily profit.
18- THORChain (RUNE) is the highest loser in top 100 list with a 11.3% daily loss.
