1- Bittrex Exchange announced their tokenized stocks listing, users are now able to buy fractions of a share 24/7. Tokenized stocks included are Tesla, Apple, Netflix, Alibaba, Biontech, Pfizer, Google, S&P 500.
2- Japanese privately held companies LayerX and IDx is working collaboratively on a blockchain voting system to be used in Kaga city.
3- Second largest bank of Spain, BBVA is launching their crypto services, first to be offered in Switzerland.
4- Treasury Department made a public statement, saying: “There is strong support across the G7 on the need to regulate digital currencies.”
5- Bank of Russia chairperson Elvira Nabiullina had given the following statement regarding CBDCs: “This is a natural move in the financial system development: Financial intermediaries should become less burdensome for the economy and earn money with new products and services instead of profiting from their monopoly and lack of alternatives. […] We believe that small- and medium-sized businesses should definitely benefit from this.”
